John Word West family papers, 1870-1959 (bulk 1880-1959).

The first folder (2-01) of genealogical material provides identification for West's huge family network. Folders 2-06/22 are apparently 1880's Fulton County general store business records of John's brother, Pink (Samuel Pinkney West), 16 years his senior, who married and moved away in the 1890's. The remainder of the series (2-23/45) is made up of lesser amounts of papers by and about John's and Eva's relatives. One folder (2-39) contains letters from John to Eva; and another (2-40) holds Eva O. McKee West's family correspondence. Ora Jones' correspondence documents her schooling and teaching career at Shorter College.
